Women battle for boardrooms

In a recent article by the Financial Times it is noted that the trend to get women on boards is not going in the desired direction (namely up). But although this being a negative development, it is not exactly new. New to me was though, that there seems to be a belief among some economists that had there been more women on boards the financial crisis might altogether never have happened! Although I like to have faith in the abilities of my gender I must admit that this seems to be a rather bold statement. Read for yourself and please try to change my perception because if we can change that big macroeconomic trends we are more needed than ever hoped for
